I would chose the paragraph when Einar Andersson, the father in the book died because he froze to death. He probably would have survived if he probably didn't take off his glove. Once he took off his glove he died instantly. I think this was a significant point in the book because if Einar didn't die then his son, Sig Andersson wouldn't be sad. So that's why I think's it's an important event because his son was very sad when his father died. Also Sig lost his mother actually made him even more depressed. Hopefully he will get over it.
